Our goal is fundraising for pennies and pounds,

The school’s tight budget doesn’t always go round.

We work with the school to support learning and play,

To enrich and enhance your children's school day.

With good company and new friends along the way.

The Friends of OLSP are the school’s PTA. We are a group of volunteers who organise a varied and packed calendar of events throughout the year for the children and families including film nights, ice cream Fridays throughout the summer, Christmas craft sessions for the children, Christmas Disco and the ever-popular end of summer term BBQ to name a few.



Where your money goes.

· Brand new Running track installed May 2021.

· Play equipment on the playground - new in Sept 2018.

· New Chrome books to support digital learning.

· A new Thrive room.

· Science week activities

· First aid training for all children.

· Space Odyssey Planetarium visits and other school trips.

· New library and reading books.

· Christmas Crafts.

· Year 6 leavers gifts.

· FSU outdoor play equipment.

· World book day books for every child.

· Child Assault Prevention Workshops (Jan 2022)



How can I get involved?

Things are a little different at the moment, and we are adapting some of the activities we would normally be planning for the Spring/Summer term, but in the meantime, there are some ways to get involved which would be really helpful.

As always there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Any parents or carers who wish to help and join the friends, please get in touch via our Facebook page www.facebook.com/friendsofolsp.

Join in our Zoom/Google meetings from the comfort of your sofa.

We are also always looking for willing volunteers to help by baking cakes, manning stalls, supervising film nights and other activities that will make a real difference.
